Lucky 4D now available!

With the success of Lucky 7 in ToTo, House Of ToTo will be introducing a new system for 4D and it is Lucky 4D. In Lucky 4D it follows pretty much like in Lucky 7 where the program will deduce based on the number of premium members in House Of ToTo. However one key difference is that members will not be receiving an unique predictions as in 4D the max number of outcome is only 10,000 hence some members might receive the same predictions.

This should not be a prolem since in 4D the prizes are pretty much fixed. So I do wish all members best of luck in winning 4D with the new Lucky 4D system.

Lucky 4D will start from next week 4D draws onwards (29 Oct 2014 onwards) and each member will receive 20 4D predictions for the week draws (ie Wed, Sat and Sun).

Lucky 7 System

This will be an introduction guide to the newly introduce Lucky 7 System which is available only to Premium Guild House Members.

The Lucky 7 System which I introduce recently is a wheeled sets based on the number of premium members in House Of ToTo. Each premium member will be assign 7 System 7 entries (no two members will share the same entry) and my program will wheel out 15 more entries in additional in case last minute new members coming in. This mean that the total number of entries based on the number of premium members is being distributed among the members with each member getting 7 unique entries each.

Below is the calculation:
Number of Premium Members : N
Wheeled Entries : (N x 7) + 15
Each member will receive 7 unique System 7 entries on their console.

The wheel used is a dynamic wheel as you can see. I had tested out the wheel results on quite a few draws thus finally opening it to premium members as an additional to the usual premium predictions.

With this Lucky 7, members can simply note down the 7 System 7 entries and just purchase them at any SingaporePools outlets. There is no need for any wheeling as I had also use my deduction program to deduce out the numbers and using the Lucky 7 wheeling program to wheel the numbers based on the number of members available in the system.

Based on the above I will be able to know how many premium member is being assigned the winning entries and how many Group 3 and above prizes are won by my members.

Of cos with this it would mean that by having more members in the system, my wheeling program will be able to generate more entries and thus increasing the chances of having House Of ToTo members winning any prize in the ToTo draws and possible another Jackpot win.

Lucky 4D numbers from accident car plates?

I not sure if it happen else where in the world but in Singapore when someone witness a car accident he will try his best to see the car's license plate so he can use the plate numbers in the week's 4D and hopefullly strike big. But does it really happen? Does car involve in accidents have more luck in their plate numbers coming out in the week 4D draw?

To be frank there is no scientific rule or explanation that show that these car plate numbers have more chances in coming as winning numbers in the week 4D draw. In fact even without being involve in accidents all car plates numbers have equal chances of coming out. Being involve in accident does not really improve the chances of winning nor does it decrease it.

Then why are there so many instances of accident car plate numbers striking 4D lotteries? Well for I can say it is pure coincidence and really how many accidents are there in Singapore every day and out of all these how many actually appear in the week 4D? But if it really does make you feel more lucky having spotted an accident and you took down the car plate numbers pls by all means buy it as it might just be your lucky day (of cos someone else unlucky day).

Having say all these I hope you are able to understand that with or without witnessing an accident will not affect your chances of winning 4D at all. So do not think that you had witness an accident so the car plate numbers which you took down will confirm 100% strike first prize cos if you do you are going to be disappointed as it may not even strike a winning prize at all. Hit Rate & Win Rate

Many Lottery players had been wondering if Hit Rate and Win Rate mean the same thing and why on House Of ToTo, I had been emphasizing on the term Win Rate instead of Hit Rate cos most other ToTo/4D predictions site usually concern themselves with Hit Rate. In fact to some the term Win Rate do not even exist!

Hit Rate
Hit Rate is usually define as the number of Hits on a particular chosen set of numbers. For example in ToTo a Group 5 will mean a Hit Rate of 4 or a Group 6 will mean a Hit Rate of 3+1. In the case of 4D Hit Rate will mean the chosen combination matches one of the 23 winning combinations. A direct match will mean Direct Hit (ie 0606 (chosen) - 0606 (winning) ) while a System match will just mean a Hit (ie 6600 (chosen) - 0606 (winning) ). Here the higher the Hit Rate mean the bigger the prize won.

Win Rate
Win Rate on the other hand does not concern with the number of Hits on a particular chosen set of numbers but rather on the times a person win a prize be it ToTo or 4D. What this mean is for a ToTo putter who win a Group 6 prize in 1 out of 10 draws he play, his Win Rate is 10%. Same thing for a 4D putter who win a Consolation prize in 1 out of 10 draws he play, his Win Rate is too 10%. Here the higher the Win Rate mean the more frequent a prize is won.

So here at House Of ToTo the main objective is to increase the Win Rate first and followed by Hit Rate. I know of people who played lottery for all their life and never collected any prize money before. Won't it be great to be collecting prize money at least once or twice every week? 5 numbers appearing in 2 consecutive draws

On Monday 11 June 2001, the winning numbers for Singapore Toto were 1,10,19,23,29,45 with additional number 34.

The next consecutive draw on Thursday 14 June 2001 had five of the same numbers from the Monday draw. The winning numbers for this draw were 1,10,14,19,23,34 with additional number 33.

Thus the numbers 1,10,19,23,34 were repeated which is equivalent to a Group 4 prize and a prize money of 13% of prize pool! However there is only 1 such incident even since and what are the chances of this appearing again?

Well it is calculated that the chances of having 5 numbers appearing in the next draw is 1 in 3019.2. So taking into consideration on 11 June and 14 June the draws are 1604 and 1605 respectively. That would mean that on draw number 4623 and 4624 there is a very high chance that this will occur mathematically. Now we are at draw 2579, so in about 2044 more draws this will occur or another 19.65 years of ToTo draws. Kinda long to wait if you are to ask me.

Is ToTo a Fair Game?

From a mathematical point of view yes ToTo is a fair game with each ball having equal probability of coming out as a winning number in any draw. Singapore Pools has also taken measures to conducts the draws to the highest standards of integrity and security possible. The draw procedures are also regularly reviewed by an independent public accounting firm, ERNST & YOUNG LLP to ensure compliance with best practices and industry control requirements. An average of 200 members of the public attends each ToTo draws to act as witness and to ensure that the numbers are fairly drawn.

However understanding that each ball has equal probability of coming out as a winning number in any draw is not enough. This is because if we only understand this and for those who know or heard about Law Of Large Numbers will easily know what will the winning numbers for the next draw. Cos since it is said that all numbers have equal probability then together with a large sampling size of past historical results, anyone keeping track will be able to see which are the numbers that are not draw the same times as others and these will be the winning numbers.

For example in after 100,000 draws, all numbers had came out 14,282 times expect 07,08,09,10,11,12,13 which only appear 14,281 times. Since all balls have equal probability of being drawn and with Law Of Large Numbers the very next draw should have the winning numbers as 07,08,09,10,11,12,13. But is that the case? Of cos not and this is why.

Other than understanding all balls have equal probability of appearing as the winning number we will need to understand that ToTo result is also a random event. When something is random, any possible outcome out of all the outcomes has an equal chance of happening. In this case, the random event is numbers being drawn and every number has an equal chance of showing up in any particular draw.

Further, in random events, the past has no bearing on the present. So, if a ToTo number has been drawn in the previous draw, it has no effect on the probability of that same number being drawn in the current draw. Yes is a very important fact which many of us had forgotten when playing ToTo and thus end up spending hours of many nights studying past historical data.

So dun worry too much if you have been studying past results but yet to see any patterns cos there is no pattern to notice in the first place. As I always mention treat ToTo as a game and enjoy it. Always remember to play within your means and only play with what you can afford to lose!

Does Sum Help Predicts Winning Numbers?

I know some of you actually uses SUM of past winning results to help you predicts the next draw winning numbers. How it works depend on which method you are using. I know of a particular SUM method (kinda dumb calculation but surprisingly people still buy that system and try on their own) where you sum up all the numbers of the one past winning set, using the sum check if it is even or odd and then finally sum the pairs of numbers and divide it by 2. Sound confusing? Well let me quote you an example:

Winning Set : 01 02 03 04 05 06 (07)
Total Sum : 28
Odd/Even : Even
Prediction : (01+02)/2, (02+03)/2, (03+04)/2,...
Final Set : Only those sum that are Even are selected

Sound logically complex but does it prove anything? In actual fact SUM of past results does not prove any things or show any patterns of future outcome especially since ToTo results are pure random events. Then come the question does it help increase your chances of winning?

Of cos NOT but luckily it does not decrease your chances either if you use it. But then again since it does not increase your chances why still use it... You might be better off just by randomly picking your numbers instead!

Increase your chances with Singapore ToTo - Tip 4

Rather random than Sequential. Pick numbers in arithmetic sequences like all odds or all evens and see if you chances of striking the jackpot or even a Group 6 prize is high. The result is... your chances are very very low.

Take any set of past results and you will realize that picking numbers based on arithmetic sequences have never ever appear. But why is this so? Isn't ToTo outcome a random event? Yes ToTo outcome is a random event and it is possible that arithmetic sequence can appear as the winning jackpot numbers but the possibility of this happen is very very low. There are times where the result is something like 02 04 06 08 11 37 (22) or 11 12 13 14 15 28 (22) but never in sequence up to the additional number.

Thus instead of relying on this very low possibility why not try some random numbers and play with your luck. Who know you might just get lucky!

Do not pick birth dates. This is a common mistake most people will make when playing ToTo and that is to pick numbers based on their own or family birthday dates. For other games like 4D it is fine if you feel that your birth date is your lucky numbers but for ToTo the same rule does not apply.

In Singapore ToTo the number range from 01 to 45 however no matter how we pick numbers base on birth dates we will never be able to pick numbers ranging from 32 to 45. Imagine picking numbers ranging from 01 to 31 only... You can limiting yourself and possible a chance to win the Jackpot! But if you really must buy your birth dates, then include the year as well. Since most of us are born between 1900 to 2010 (this year when this article is publish) you will have the chance of covering the number range from 32 to 45 in your bet.

Buy more. What I sharing here is the dumbest but most practical way to increase your chances with ToTo and that is to buy more. This is the simplest, most obvious and yet most overlooked tip ever.

The maths is the very simple and I can show you how to do it. Everytime you buy an ordinary quick pick you have 1 chance in winning the Jackpot. Buy 2 and you double your chances and when you spend $5 on ordinary quick picks you actually increase you chance by 10 times. Simple?

Of cos having 10 set of ordinary quick picks might not really guarantee you a sure win especially since the chances of striking the Jackpot is only 1 in every 8 million but 10 in every 8 million is better than 1 so any ways to increase your chances while not burning a hole in your pocket I believe is worth the try.

Play less often. So what does play less often mean? Well the concept is fairly simple and it really does increase your chances of winning ToTo. Let me quote you the following example and you will see for yourself what I mean.

If you usually play ToTo every week twice (Monday and Thursday) and each time you spend a fixed $2 on Ordinary Quick Pick, why not switch to spending $4 once every week or even better if you can spend $16 once every month on ToTo.

You might be asking how does this increase the chances of winning in fact this reduces the chances right since you will be playing less often. Well let me do the maths for you and you can see for yourself. Each ToTo draw your chance of winning the Jackpot is 1 in 8 million of a chance. So if you spend $2 for each draw, your chances of winning the jackpot for that draw is 4 in 8 million of a chance.

But if you switch to spending $4 once a week, your chances of winning the jackpot is 8 in 8 million of a chance, double of your original chances while still spending the same amount.
